Building a repeatable Boonton fleet graphic
A useful fleet design is a system, not a single drawing. For Boonton operators adding a dump truck, we define the type sizes, colors, panel priorities and unit-number rules so the next body style can match without pretending every vehicle has the same shape.
The reference specification records what must stay fixed: logo proportions, color values, phone-number treatment and the relative order of information. Placement on cab doors, dump body and tailgate can then adapt around hinges, high-wear edges and uneven painted surfaces without making the vehicle look unrelated.
This matters when vehicles are replaced one at a time. A stored Boonton fleet spec lets a new unit join the set even when the original model is no longer available or the panel geometry has changed.
Unit numbers deserve their own rule. They should be visible to dispatch and yard staff, repeat in predictable places and remain separate from the customer-facing message. Our fleet lettering program documents that system.
Boonton is served from Lombardo Lettering’s Chester base as part of Morris County, with this page focused specifically on fleet consistency for a dump truck; the Morris County service page explains the wider coverage area.
