Custom Signs in New Jersey

Storefront, yard, job-site and interior signage built to last outdoors.

Signs are the other half of the business. If a customer can find your shop, read your hours and see your name from the road, the sign has paid for itself — and we build them to survive New Jersey winters.

What the job involves

We fabricate and letter storefront panels, hanging signs, monument faces, window and door graphics, job-site boards, safety and directional signage, magnetic panels, dimensional lettering and construction signs. Substrates are chosen for the job: aluminum for permanent exterior work, coroplast for temporary job-site boards, PVC for interiors, acrylic for reception-area lettering.

Layout follows the same discipline as our vehicle work. Viewing distance sets letter height, contrast sets legibility, and the surrounding architecture sets proportion. A sign meant to be read from a passing car needs far fewer words and far larger type than most people first ask for, and we will say so.

How we do it

Municipal sign ordinances vary town to town across Morris, Essex, Bergen and the rest of our area — size limits, illumination rules, setbacks and permit requirements are all local. We have worked with these codes for three decades and will build to the dimensions your town allows so a sign does not have to come back down.

Interior and window lettering rounds it out: hours of operation, suite numbers, safety notices, frosted privacy vinyl, lobby logos and wall graphics. Same premium films, same installation crew.

How mobile lettering works

STEP 1

Call or send a photo

Tell us the vehicle, the wording and roughly when you need it. A photo of the truck answers most of our questions in one shot.

STEP 2

Approve the proof

We lay the design out on a template of your actual vehicle and send it back for approval. Nothing is cut until you say yes.

STEP 3

We come to you

We arrive at your yard or job site with everything needed, prep the panels and apply the graphics. Most vehicles are back in service the same day.

Custom Signs — questions we get asked

Do you handle sign permits?

We build to your town ordinance and supply the drawings and specs your permit application needs. Filing is normally handled by the property owner or their contractor.

How long do exterior signs last?

An aluminum panel with premium vinyl graphics typically holds up seven to ten years outdoors before it needs refacing.

Can you re-face an existing sign?

Yes, and it is usually the cheapest route. We strip the old graphics and apply new ones to the existing panel or cabinet.

Do you install, or just fabricate?

Both. Most jobs are fabricated and installed by us, including window and interior lettering at your location.
